Yes / No で答える
「Are you 〜？」と聞かれたら、
まずは「Yes」なのか「No」なのかを答えます。
Are you 〜?
あなたは〜ですか？
↓
はい…Yes, I am.
いいえ…No, I am not.
（No, I’m not.でもOK）
「Yes, I am.」は省略せずに答えるのがルールです。
「❌ Yes, I’m.」にはできません。
「Is he 〜?」と聞かれたら？
主語が「he」なら、「he」を使って答えます。
Is he 〜?
彼は〜ですか？

はい…Yes, he is.
いいえ…No, he is not.
（No, he’s not. / No, he isn’t.でもOK）
「 she 〜?」と聞かれたら？
主語が「she」なら、「she」を使って答えます。
Is she 〜?
彼女は〜ですか？

はい…Yes, she is.
いいえ…No, she is not.
（No, she’s not. / No, she isn’t.でもOK）
「Is this 〜?」と聞かれたら？
主語が物なら、「it」を使って答えます。
Is this 〜?
これは〜ですか？

はい…Yes, it is.
いいえ…No, it is not.
（No, it’s not. / No, it isn’t.でもOK）
「this」でも「that」でも「it」でも、
物のことを聞かれたら「it」で答えます。
「Are they 〜?」と聞かれたら？
主語が複数なら、「they」を使って答えます。
Are they 〜?

いいえ…No, they are not.
（No, they’re not. / No, they aren’t.でもOK）
人でも物でも、
主語が複数なら「they」で答えます。
